This 2-day training provides employers with practical guidance and tools in establishing systems to implement the Employer Pays Model, and developing effective controls to mitigate risks of excessive recruitment fees in the recruitment and employment of foreign migrant workers.

This training is an intensive 3-day blended course that includes self-paced (asynchronous modules) and instructor-led, on-site coursework. It aims to improve auditor competencies in conducting social audits against international social responsibility standards.
Students in this course will participate in a multi-day mock audit and learn best practices in information-gathering from employment site management, receiving country labor providers, origin country recruitment partners, and migrant workers. The course is highly interactive, with time allocated to practice activities including management systems analysis, management/labor agent interviews, worker interviews, and documents review, among others.

Understanding Forced Labor Indicators and Risks
This 3-hour course introduces critical aspects of responsible recruitment and the employment of foreign migrant workers, emphasizing standards and compliance benchmarks.
Participants will gain an understanding of the various manifestations of forced labor risks, particularly focusing on the 11 indicators outlined by the International Labour Organization (ILO). The course further explores the associated risks posed by labor recruiters and labor contracting systems and encourages a proactive approach, through practical examples, towards ensuring the well-being and fair treatment of migrant workers within the global workforce.
