東京（2026年4月17日）—DIWA（Dignity in Work for All）は、ASSC（一般社団法人 ザ・グローバル・アライアンス・フォー・サステイナブル・サプライチェーン / The Global Alliance for Sustainable Supply Chains）と、人権デューデリジェンスおよび責任あるサプライチェーンの推進分野における連携強化を目的として、パートナーシップを締結しました。
ASSCによる日本企業との連携・支援の取り組みと、DIWAが有する人権・労働・サプライチェーンに関する国際的な専門知見を活かし、本パートナーシップを通じて、企業がグローバル・サプライチェーンにおける人権リスクを特定・予防・是正する能力の向上を目指します。
DIWAとASSCは、持続可能で責任あるビジネス慣行の推進に貢献するという共通の理念を共有しています。これまで両団体は、実践的な事例や専門家による知見を紹介する共同セミナーを開催し、人権デューデリジェンスの効果的な実施に関する理解促進に取り組んできました。本パートナーシップ契約を通じて、両団体は、日本企業による人権尊重の取り組みをさらに前進させるとともに、グローバル・バリューチェーンにおける実効性あるデューデリジェンスの実施強化を支援していきます。
今後、DIWAとASSCは、セミナーやウェビナーの開催、専門知識の共有、ベストプラクティスの発信などを通じて、企業における理解と実務能力の強化を図ります。また、責任あるリクルートメントの推進や、東南アジアのサプライチェーンに対する理解を深める取り組みなど、今後の活動も予定しています。
本協働は、DIWAが日本および世界において「働く尊厳（Dignity in Work）」と実効的な人権デューデリジェンスを中心とした実践コミュニティを構築するための継続的な取り組みの一環です。
TOKYO (April 17, 2026)—DIWA (Dignity in Work for All) has entered into a partnership with the ASSC (The Global Alliance for Sustainable Supply Chains) to strengthen collaboration in the field of human rights due diligence and the promotion of responsible supply chains.
Leveraging ASSC’s work with Japanese businesses and DIWA’s international expertise in human rights, labour, and supply chain due diligence, this partnership aims to enhance the ability of companies to identify, prevent, and address human rights risks across global supply chains.
DIWA and ASSC share a commitment to contribute to the advancement of sustainable and responsible business practices. Previously, DIWA and ASSC held joint seminars that highlighted practical case studies and expert-led insight into effective implementation of human rights due diligence. Through this partnership agreement, both organizations aim to support Japanese companies in advancing respect for human rights, particularly by enhancing the implementation of effective due diligence across global value chains. Together, DIWA and ASSC will organize seminars and webinars, share expertise, and disseminate best practices to strengthen understanding and operational capacity within corporate practice, including upcoming activities to support responsible recruitment and deepen understanding of supply chains in Southeast Asia. This collaboration is part of DIWA’s ongoing efforts to build a community of practice in Japan and globally centered on dignity in work and effective human rights due diligence.
